Wage: $ 25.41 hourly

Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Assess patients’ physical abilities

  • Assist health care professionals

  • Carry out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupationaltherapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities

  • Follow through on treatment programs with patients

  • Help physical therapists

  • Maintain prescription records

  • Set up and dismantle equipment

  • Supervise technical and support staff

  • Apply and adjust casts, splints and bandages

  • Clean and maintain equipment

  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies

  • Maintain clinical and progress reports

  • Maintain inventory of equipment

  • Document patient rehabilitation progress

  • Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients
