    Responsibilities

    • Assist Skilled Workers: Support carpenters, masons, electricians, and other tradespeople by providing tools, materials, and assistance as needed on construction sites.

    • Site Preparation: Clear debris, set up temporary structures, and prepare construction sites for work, ensuring safety and cleanliness.

    • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to appropriate locations on-site using hand tools or small machinery.

    • Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain construction tools and equipment, reporting any damages or required repairs.

    • Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere to safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to minimize risks and ensure a safe work environment.

    • Basic Construction Tasks: Perform basic tasks such as digging trenches, mixing concrete, assembling scaffolding, and assisting in demolition.

    • Measure and Mark: Help measure and mark surfaces or areas to assist skilled workers in cutting and shaping materials accurately.

    • Communication: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to understand tasks and relay important site information.

    • Support Site Clean-up: Regularly clean and organize the worksite to maintain efficiency and reduce hazards.

    • Adapt to Project Needs: Take on a variety of duties depending on the phase of the project and direction from supervisors.
